What is SecureKernel
SecureKernel is a security assessment platform specializing in the GRCA (Governance, Risk Management, Compliance and Auditor) domain. It automates the traditionally labor-intensive security assessment process, significantly reducing the workload for security teams, consulting firms, and system integrators.

Background — Growing Demand for Supply Chain Security
Cyberattacks targeting corporate supply chains are surging globally. Threat actors increasingly use vendors and suppliers as entry points, making supply chain-wide security management a top business priority.
In Japan, the government has responded with stronger regulations. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) explicitly identifies supply chain risk management as a key responsibility for executives in its Cybersecurity Management Guidelines. METI is also working toward a 2026 launch of the Supply Chain Security (SCS) assessment scheme. The Cabinet Secretariat’s NISC likewise calls on critical infrastructure operators to address supply chain risk — making it more important than ever for companies to demonstrate the effectiveness of their security programs externally.
Managing these assessments manually with spreadsheets is neither scalable nor cost-effective. SecureKernel was built to solve this problem.
